You understand and even have faith based on science and spiritual information that there is more energy than you see. For instance, human eyes cannot see x- rays or infra red light energies, but we know that they exist and we have machines that can detect and even record them.
Many believers, and especially all branches and denominations of Christians and Jews, understand that the essential energy is created by The Divine.
Special Note on using the term "The Divine":
When you see the term, "The Divine", please always substitute your own best Name or Term for an attribute or Person for that reference.
Since the first sentence of the Bible in Hebrew actually contains two different Names, which are translated into English a "Lord" And "God", there is just no way this book could be written to be inclusive and theologically correct unless we use "The Divine" and each reader substitutes as the best Name or Term in each instance.
Plus, the binary letters also reference concepts of duality found in most all religions and paths, too. |
"And the Lord God said, "Let there be light..."
Until you have experience and memories (many, many memories) from seeing the essences your brain cannot decode and show you the visual information and evidence of the essences that it actually receives from your eyes. To the brain, the essences are
irrelevant since it has no visual information and experience about them.
It will remain irrelevant without actually building visual memories.
"Evidence of things unseen..."
Thus until this new amazing artistic, theological and science-based breakthrough, almost every normally sighted (including through the use of corrective lenses) person saw the world in much the same way as a toddler sees a story book. The toddler sees the printed text in a storybook but has no idea that the meaning of the story is in those strange lines of little shapes. Instead the toddler focuses on the illustrations. Those little strange shapes seem irrelevant.
Once the toddler learns -- through repeated viewing and lessons-- to recognize the little strange shapes as letters, the child can learn to combine the shapes and read. A whole new world will open filled with
possibilities
and opportunities the child can use and master. Once you learn to see the essences, a whole new world will open up to you, too.
What do all successful people have in common -- whatever their fields of attainment, whether they were or are business people, scientists, in the arts, or people who enjoy great relationships with family, friends and loved ones?
Inspiration.
Successful people are inspired -- they often tell of "seeing" and idea that changed their lives.
But, that is not enough.
They also speak of "seeing" themselves accomplishing the idea. They are inspired to accomplishment.
The life of every truly successful person that has told their story is filled with initial inspiration and then continuing inspiration to accomplish the initial idea.
In modern times this has included the lives of Einstein, Edison, Ford, Salk, Churchill, Picasso, Warhol, Gates, Jobs, and many others.
There is a vast difference between deciding on a goal or course of action and imagining oneself accomplishing it vs. actually seeing inspiration (receiving it) and being inspired to act and accomplish it -- even throughout any trials and obstacles, which then through continued inspiration are eventually overcome.
Recent scientific discoveries, combined with ancient wisdom have inspired a new way of seeing the world that anyone who has average vision (including with corrective lenses) can now attain -- through a new kind of art. How did this new way of seeing the world come about?
A few years ago, in a moment of inspiration, I "saw" the idea with artistic clarity that when the Creator speaks in Genesis 1 the letters (in Torah font) of those words represent the smallest essences – the actual building blocks of the physical universe. I already knew that this theology is basic and fully held by all branches and denominations of Christians and Jews. But this time I envisioned the idea in a new way in my mind.
Recently new discoveries in elementary physics indicated that strings also called branes are the energy/pre-matter of the universe, or the essences.
What if I used the Torah font letters for the strokes in a painting? Each letter-stroke would represent an essential energy/pre-matter string.
Let's back up to a bit about me and how I became involved in this -- or, why me?
My original training was in fine art. I had always hoped to return and somehow show the reality that lies beneath our visual understandings, which seemed to me to be both spiritual and physical and scientific -- to make the invisible visible. However, I found no way to make this artistic contribution, and it would take science many years to make discoveries that would help inspire me to paint in a new way.
As a schoolgirl, I had personally experienced the power of fine art to influence, change and even "save" lives. I grew up in NYC and spent most afternoons after school at the great art museums and galleries, which were all free to students.
I had too much respect for the power of art, which for me is always spiritual and for the best art, holy to pursue a career in art unless or until I had something meaningful to contribute. Despite strong encouragement from my art teachers to pursue a career in art, I left to find other careers where less I could contribute and share.
Although I did not recognize it at the time, all of the careers and interests that I wandered into prepared me for the work I now do as an artist founding an new theory of art and way of changing lives and empowering people to see more. These careers included being a professional writer (including journalist and comedy script writer), a counselor and seminar creator and instructor, public speaker and finally, web and graphic design. Plus I have and remain fascinated with particle physics, spiritual and religious theology, neuroscience, and, of course art.
How it began:
I found a small board and some old acrylic paints. Since the book I happened to find that had Torah font letters was a Friday night prayer book I created a small landscape of a sunset. Then I did another painting... and another... and showed people I trust artistically and...
Long story short: I turned my whole life upside down, inside out and around to become a professional artist. I even wrote a business plan, my first ever.
And my plan was...
My plan always included changing the way people, especially Jews and Christians saw the world, since I knew that the theology UnGraven Image is founded upon from Genesis 1 is basic and held by all branches and denominations of Christians and Jews. If you read Genesis 1 in the original Hebrew (some English/Hebrew Bibles have this) the visual concept is will be fairly self-evident to you now.
The understanding about the Torah font letters representing the essences is mentioned in many ancient and modern texts for all Protestants and Evangelicals, Catholics, Eastern and Greek Orthodox, And for all Jews it is also found in Talmud and Kaballah also. It seems it is even mentioned in the Koran as true. Even knowing all of that at the beginning I only had a minor understanding of the great ramifications of my little artistic experiment.
I was simply inspired to use original Bible texts for all of the strokes of each painting.
However, being a curious person, I researched languages and fonts other than Torah font to learn if I could find another, better symbol set for my strokes. It turns out that Torah font is the only font in any language in the world that is phonic, alpha-numerical and binary.
Binary means it references other important concepts in science.
It also means my strokes always symbolically refer to important spiritual
concepts, such as Light/Dark, Holy/Profane, Blessing/Curse and Yin/Yang. Due to the binary nature of Torah font the symbol-strokes of the paintings also
reference
important concepts in most of the world's religions and spiritual paths. It is a vision we can share, without compromising our own beliefs.
From that I was inspired to change my Plan and use the term "The Divine" to represent words, names, persons and attributes that people use for their understandings of God. Each reader is asked to substitute the most applicable name for them,
whenever
the term, "The Divine" is used here or in the book.
Aside from being inclusive for all, this keeps me
theologically
correct from point to point as well as from denomination to denomination.
My plan kept shifting as I was inspired to follow a greater Plan.
That Plan also included creating a web site and blog. After about a year and a half of weekly blogging it dawned on me that I had some of the workings of an inspirational book. Again my plan expanded. I began working on a book that I
conceived
as illustrated by images of my art.
Then I
realized
that UnGraven Image theory is not just a next step from Conceptual, especially Word art, it is Post Conceptual Art! Actually it is a branch of Post Conceptual Art, which is creating painted or
sculpted
narrative (images) using symbol strokes.
I wrote a booklet, "The Manifesto of Post Conceptual UnGraven Image Art Theory -- A Painting's Meaning is Inherent in its Strokes", which is available at the ungravenimage.com web site. Founding a new art theory of Post Conceptual Art was much larger that what my original plan entailed! It seemed as I kept stumbling forward along my artistic path I was falling up into a
different
Plan for my work and life.
Then something really strange happened
As I worked to become better at this whole new way of painting I was founding of using layers and layers of tiny symbols (letters) for strokes to make images, I began to actually see differently.
My eyesight remained the same, but I was seeing more vibrancy, more energy. I first noticed this in the spring of '08 about the time of the Art Fairs in NYC.
At first I though I was somehow seeing my strokes everywhere, that the idea of all that vibrancy was somehow implanted the way a flash bulb can remain in one's vision for a few moments
afterwards.
Except, the subtle vibrancy of energy did not block or inhibit my normal vision in any way, and it continued. I thought to myself that I was actually seeing more of the energy that science (and theology) informs us is all there really is. It was there with or without my wearing eyeglasses (I am near-sighted with better than average close range vision). The new way of seeing added vibrancy and even splendor. I became even more aware of the ongoing presence of The Divine.
Of course, I figured that this new kind of vision would go away as mysteriously as it arrived. Only it stayed and changed my life even more.
When problems arose, and in many areas I was really tested in relation to this new skill, I found myself looking around, wherever I was and seeing all this energy recognizing the ongoing presence of The Divine, everywhere and always and now.
I remained calmer, and could be proactive and positive. I was inspired, saw opportunities and saw challenges, even blessings where before I would have remained upset and disturbed. When fear or distress returned due to news or circumstances it was answered by the reality of the ongoing essences I saw and I quickly become calm and even thankful and determined. I saw and see a different reality and it is inspiring my life.
The problems resolved or are resolving
I have a better, more abundant and meaningful life than I ever imagined. I am living a life filled with Divine inspiration -- and you can too. My understanding of the Plan changed...
I learned that through my work as an artist and writer I can do more than visually inspire; I can provide the means for people to change how they physically and actually see the world.
My job is not just to inspire but to lead people to lives that are visually inspiring on an ongoing basis. While I do not have a magic wand that can make your problems disappear, I do have the blessing of a paintbrush that I can use to help you see those problems and the world around you differently. You can be comforted, inspired, have more confidence and have more control of yourself and your thoughts. You can be inspired by not only my art, but by everything you see.
You can be visually inspired and uplifted in times of trouble.
I know this because I have and do now live this way. You can too. How is this possible? Essentially our eyes only see impressions of light. The brain decodes or translates those impressions by comparing them to previously impressions (memories). This occurs so quickly that it seems instantaneous to us. Thus we actually are more able to see, with more clarity, precision and detail what is familiar. We can see a slight change in a loved one's expression that other miss.
Through creating and the seeing my paintings on a daily basis I had managed to train my brain to use that visual information -- of the tiny symbol strokes everywhere representing the Words of The Divine-- to decode and give meaning to the images of light received moment to moment from my eyes.
Also, 60% of the average human brain is dedicated to the perception of vision. The other 40% is dedicated to the perceptions of sound, touch, smell and taste, plus most
cognitive
thinking and running the body. That indicates how important vision is to us!
"Without a vision the people perish."
So seeing the essences was having an enormous influence on my life. It is kind of difficult to continue have feelings of t worry, fear, doubt, anger or sadness, when everywhere I look I actually see the essences that show me the ongoing power and Presence of The Divine in my life.
Without meaning to I stumbled into and learned a new way of seeing that is blessing my life!
And then the most amazing thing yet happened!
Shortly after I completed writing and editing The Art of Seeing The Divine, Book 1: What Do You See? I began to notice that I am experiencing far less negativity and unwanted emotions. I puzzled over this for three days, while figuring it is like dumb luck or winning the lottery, without even buying a ticket.
Suddenly, without my taking any additional action, such as counseling, going to a seminar, EFT, prayers, affirmations, etc. (all things that can be very helpful!), I was experiencing greater clarity and emotional freedom.
I waited for the experience to go away.
It hasn't.
Apparently through painting and creating and then actually doing the Visual Exercise/Experiences in the book, my brain now recognizes and decodes the energies in my visual memories as simply energy --including my emotions.
Well, that seems simple enough. Emotions are energy.
I suspect that when my brain uses visual memories it is recognizing emotions that may be attached to these memories as energy. That works a lot better than when it sees the energy as feelings and thoughts -- especially tose old pesky unwanted negative ones -- and that flashes through my subconscious. I am enjoying the lack of being visually clued with unwanted emotions that are refernced by what I see.
Also, since I have consciously supplied my brain with many visual memories for decoding energies, which are in fact better for decoding than prior visual memories in relation to energy, my brain is not bringing past emotions into the present as it decodes the impressions of light received from my eyes.
When I was doing private counseling with clients, as we worked trough a traumatic incidents clients would recall additional incidents that came to mind at the time of the incident we were dealing with. The incidents were often linked by emotions or perceptions of sight, sound, smell, touch and taste.
In day to day normal life our brains use past memories to decode what we perceive, and especially what we focus on. If the memories used to decode specific perceptions of light include negative emotions then those emotions could be brought to mind.
We all know that certain sights, sounds, smells or words can remind us of other people, places or things -- experiences -- in our pasts. Sometimes our knowledge of this potential re-stimulation causes us to avoid otherwise innocent events, people or places.
Since 60% of a normal person's brain space is dedicated to the perception of vision, and 90% of the perception of vision occurs in the brain as it decodes impressions of light, purposefully adding uplifting visual memories for the brain to use is an effective and proactive way change one's life.
We live in troubled times
The need for this new way of seeing the world is obvious from the national and international news we receive daily about the economy, wars, natural disasters, climate change and social problems.
Many people are searching for inspiration that will help them through problematical situations that may include finances, health, relationships and being more of the person one wants to be and closer to The Divine.
My original plan was to market the book that I was writing by finding an agent who would sent the manuscript out to publishers. If I was fortunate that process would take about two years before the book was actually published and available to people, including you.
That was my plan before I began to actually see in this new way. Once again I "saw" a better Plan. Since I can created web sites and work with graphics programs (as mentioned, I was "somehow" thoroughly
equipped for my artistic mission), it became obvious to put the book out on the web as an e-book. This makes it quickly available to anyone with Internet access who reads English.
